September is a wonderful time to explore Ireland. The summer crowds begin to ease, the countryside starts to take on its autumn colours and there’s something lovely about packing a bag and enjoying a few days away before the evenings draw in.

Discover Donegal & Derry – 21st September

If dramatic coastal scenery, fascinating history and the warm hospitality of the northwest appeal to you, our Luxury Coach Holiday to Donegal could be the perfect choice.

Departing on 21st September for three nights, with pick-ups in Nenagh, Limerick and Ennis, this four-day break is based at the welcoming Silver Tassie Hotel, just outside Letterkenny.

Family-owned and known for its warm Donegal welcome, comfortable accommodation and excellent food, the Silver Tassie provides an ideal base for exploring this beautiful corner of Ireland.

During the holiday, we'll cross into Derry for a guided tour of this historic city. Walk through centuries of history as you discover its famous city walls, streets and landmarks before visiting the Museum of Free Derry, which provides a fascinating and moving insight into the civil rights movement and the events that shaped modern Northern Ireland.

Another highlight takes us to the spectacular Fanad Lighthouse, dramatically positioned between Lough Swilly and Mulroy Bay. With sweeping views across the Atlantic coastline, it's one of those special places that reminds you just how beautiful Ireland can be.

Back at the hotel, guests can relax and enjoy evening entertainment on two nights, making this a lovely combination of sightseeing, socialising and time away.

One week later, we're heading west!

Our Autumn Escape to Clifden departs Cork City and Mallow on 28th September for three nights, taking us into the heart of one of Ireland's most beautiful regions.

Our home is the charming Clifden Station House Hotel, uniquely located on the site of the former Clifden Railway Station and within walking distance of Clifden town centre.

You'll be welcomed with tea, coffee and freshly baked scones before settling in for three relaxing nights of Connemara hospitality.

Known as the Capital of Connemara, Clifden is surrounded by mountains, lakes and rugged Atlantic coastline. Its colourful streets and relaxed atmosphere make it the perfect base for exploring the region.

One of the highlights of our stay is a scenic boat trip from Lisloughrey Pier across Lough Corrib. Sit back and enjoy magnificent views as we experience one of Ireland's most beautiful waterways from a completely different perspective.

We'll also visit the Connemara Sheep & Wool Centre, where we'll learn more about traditional sheep farming, wool production and the rural traditions that have shaped life in Connemara for generations.

There's time to relax too, with a classic movie screening at the Clifden Station Theatre and evening entertainment adding to the enjoyment of our stay.
